Sermon Talk Back

Many people in today’s American culture are unwilling to attend a church where they are “told” what to believe. We at Living Hope want each person to explore the depths of the Christian faith in their own mind and at their own pace. Following our worship service we offer “Sermon Talk Back” class.

Facilitated by Pastor Greg, this class offers time for the participants to reflect on what has been taught in the morning sermon and reason together about other ways of looking at the same passage. One phrase that is heard quite often is “Where is it written?” Participants are encouraged to disagree with or question the points of the sermon that they have just heard. Most often the discussion is quite lively and stimulates further thinking about the topic.
