Jon Spieker

Church Chairman and Liaison to Administrative Team

Jon Spieker is currently serving as Church Chairman. He facilitates the leadership team meetings and participates in those decisions. Jon is also the liaison to the administrative team for the church. He is also the drummer in our ensemble during worship services.

John really enjoys the open style of worship LHCC has: everyone is welcome, whether you wear a suit and tie, or shorts and a t-shirt. Greg's messages are challenging and thought provoking, and are always centered on the scripture. He loves the music on Sunday mornings, and he enjoys contributing to it. The people (family) at Living Hope are great as well and Jon has made and continues to make many friends in the church

When asked about his favorite bible character, Jon replied “I’d really like to meet Noah. It would be interesting to talk to him about his faith in the face of all the ‘nay sayers’ when he was building the Ark. As an engineer by trade, it would be very interesting to understand the technical challenges he faced with the ‘ARK’ project (can you imagine he did it without Microsoft Project?)”.

Jon’s family is comprised of his wife Faye, and 2 sons (Todd (17) and Adam (16)). All of them are pretty involved in the church in areas such as Music, Drama, Youth Group, and various other places. Jon and Faye have been married 22 years.
